Hello! I’m Chris Rodríguez Medina — based in Puerto Rico and founder of CROD LLC, a fintech software company.

My background is all over the place, economics, systems software, payments, mechanics, electronics, heavy machinery, and more. I work mostly from the terminal on Void Linux and OpenBSD, I write in plain text, and I like tools I can read end to end. When I am not building something I read a lot, mostly philosophy, finance, history, and homesteading. Anything I think is worth keeping ends up here.

This site is part wiki and part journal. Resources is where I keep the people and tools I draw from. Library is the books I think are worth your time. Uses is the software I run day to day. Now is what I am working on this month. The essays are down below.
